SuperTransition Tool
With SuperTransition Tool you can calculate infinite different unfolds - totally flexible, your transition will not be limited to pre-defined figures, bringing more freedom to create any transition shape. With the Curve Trajectory Wizard, you can create transitions with variable or constant sections, following a defined path (curved, straight or both). You only need to create some sections (the initial and final, for example) and the CALDsoft7 automatically calculates and unfold all the intermediate sections and all flat patterns.
Flex Tool
With the Flex Tool, you can create infinity intersections and calculate the unfolding pattern of parts that are not included in the original list of pre-defined shapes. This tool can be used to create the border contour within the Flex Tool design interface or importing 3D points or polylines from AutoCAD or x,y,z coordinates in txt files.
Revolve Tool
With Revolve Tool, the user can get the flat pattern from 2D contours in revolution, rounded shapes and pressure vessels tops, can also develop the contours tool design interface or importing 3D points or polylines AutoCAD or x,y coordinates in txt files.
Cost Optmization
With the Cost Optimization Tool you can optimize the best trade-off between the split line position and the minimum raw material dimension to fit the flat pattern. After that, the user can print the calculations for budgets and costs reports using the flat pattern with minimum weight, minimum cutting, assembly and welding processes costs. These calculations can be exported to spreadsheets (e.g. Microsoft Excel).
CAD integrations
CALDsoft7 exports 2D drawings and 3D final forms to CAD systems using the universal DXF, DWG and STL file type, also allowing the importation of contours and shapes from AutoCAD to the FLEX tool – for any transition or intersection shape.
Nesting
the Nesting module allows the distribution of flat patterns in one or more plates. This feature reduces scraps and costs, helping the operator to trace/mark the points on the plate, it allows an accurate preview of the flat pattern, eliminating the amendments or points out of plate limits.
