WEB usage
With the Caldsoft2020, you will be able to access and execute your calculations and projects from anywhere, whether by: Computer, Notebook, Tablet or Cellphone, just having access to the internet.
Agility and accuracy
Select the desired shape, there are hundreds of templates options, like transitions, intersections, bifurcations, etc... Enter the final part data and the flat pattern result is calculated in seconds.
3D visualization
The 3D model allows realistic visualization of the part, ensuring a good understanding of the part to be manufactured, allowing zooming, coordinates extraction and 3D measurements, as well as exporting to CAD/CAM/CAE systems in various formats
Smart dimensions
The plans already have dimensions to facilitate manufacturing, but the dimensions can be moved and deleted. Additional dimensions can be created, in various formatting, using any 2 points of the flat pattern. 3D dimensions can be used to extract control measures for precise assembly and welding.
Stiffeners flanges
The plans can allow the inclusion of flanges, which are normally used in lighter construction parts with thin sheet laminations, replacing the welding process by riveting or screwing. In some cases, flanges are used to introduce more stiffness into thin plate parts.
CAD integration
It is possible to integrate calculations with CAD/CAM/CAE systems in a variety of formats, including DFX, DWG, STL, and OBJ. 2D plans or 3D surface models can be exported. The integrated use of SolidWorks, SolidEdge, Siemens NX and Autocad with CALDsoft2020 is fully facilitated. The use of CADs to import the flat paterns allows the printing in natural scale to serve as a "mask" for manual tracing, as well as allows integration with CNC cutting in automated processes
Print & Plot
Directly print your flat patterns and 3D shapes using your PDF viewer. In the PDF file format you have flexibility to obtain your prints as well as have a universal compatibility of devices, operating systems, printers and plotters.
Curves & Elbows
Dozens of curves exist in CALDsoft2020, with circular, oval, rectangular and others sections. The angles, quantity of sections, bending radius, and more can be managed in the calculation.
Shape transitions
With transitions it is possible to couple 2 different pipes, regardless of the shape of the ends, distances and angles.
Shape intersections
With intersections it is possible to build the flat pattern of parts composed by the intersection of 2 or more different shapes that intersect fully or partially, regardless of their format.
Bifurcations or shapes with multiple derivations
Bifurcations, trifurcations, multifurcations, etc... are complex forms with many derivations of a single input. It is used commonly in fluid transport systems, from dust air pollution control systems to water inlet to large hydroelectric plants.
Complex and others shapes
